Presentation: Using Python and Spark to understand Retail behavior
Retailers are more than a traditional physical store. State-of-the-art technology, required to compete with the other channels, is leaving them aside. Therefore, in this work, we will see how important are Big Data studies to understand consumer’s behaviour, how they behave and their preferences regardless of the channel. We will see Python and Spark to demonstrate it. The purpose of this talk, is to show the possible analysis and testing capabilities that today retailers need to master when competing with online stores, through integrating, exploring and measuring data to optimize store performance. For that, Big Data tools play a key role.
